Obiano’s Kinsmen Dump Him & APGA, Endorse Atiku/Obi, Oduah

The kinsmen of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state have distanced themselves from the governor’s preferred candidates in Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
His kinsmen who came under the umbrella of Omambala Unity Assembly in a statement jointly signed by Senator Alphonsus Igbeke, Prof Kenneth Oforkansi and Elder Dr Obi Anyanyo stated that Anambra north senatorial zone has two political districts – Ombala and Ogbaru/Onitsha zones.
The Assembly agreed that since Omambala produced the incumbent governor, that the Ogbaru/Onitsha axis should be supported to complete their term at the senate. And therefore endorsed senator Stella Adaeze Oduah for the Saturday’s National Assembly election.
The Assembly went ahead to endorse the ticket of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.
They stated that Anambra north senatorial zone produced the state governor for the first time due to insistence of Mr Peter Obi to respect equity.
Ndi Omambala Unity Assembly therefore said it is time to appreciate Obi for that gesture and vote him and PDP at the Saturday’s presidential election.
