A group, the Movement for Election of Nigeria President of Igbo Extraction, has described the Manifesto of the Labour Party presidential and vice presidential candidates, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi and Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, as manifestation of preparedness of Obi-Datti to tackle and eradicate myriads of problems and challenges bedeviling the country if elected in February 2023 general.

This is contained in a press statement issued to newsmen endorsed by Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, National Convener and Amb. Prof. Justice Chidi, National Secretary, tagged “Roadmap to progress and prosperity“.

Speaking, Comrade Ezekwueme said the documents is nearly excellent and perfect Manifesto that Nigerians cannot afford to miss this rare, unique and golden opportunity by voting for Labour Party.

Commenting on the qualities of Peter Obi, he said: “Fortunately, Mr. Peter Obi is a man of his words, he says less, but achieved more. His honesty, integrity, steadfastness, unrighteousness is unequal and unprecedented.

“Obi has engraved and etched his name in the hearts and minds of Nigeria because of his humility, simplicity, contentment, prudent and humanitarianism.

“It is interesting to note that a government contractor told me that Mr. Obi is an extraordinarily selfless human being who saved a lot of money for the government, never demanded gratifications for award of contract and always fulfills his promises.”

On why Nigerians should vote for a Peter Obi presidency, he said: “Pertinently, Obi is in likeness of Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Julius Nyerere, hence to get Nigeria working again and be counted among global community, we should vote massively for Obi-Datti presidency.

“They know the way, shows the way, follows the way and will certainly leads us to the promised land which they have demonstrated through their well-articulated, inclusive and embracing manifesto which touched all sectors of state economy, security, agriculture, employment generating strategy and others.”

Ezekwueme, meanwhile, reiterated his earlier appeal to highly respectful aggrieved G5 governors and their numerous allays and supporters to complete their demand for justice, equality, equity, egalitarianism, inclusiveness, good conscience and morality by taking patriotic, bold, decisive and courageous step by endorsing the candidacy of presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, who symbolizes what they believed in and are demanding from their party.

According to him, “Obi’s candidacy represents justice, equality, equity, inclusiveness, competent, capability and capacity”.
