Nigerian footballer Abubakar Lawal has died after reportedly falling from the third-floor balcony of a shopping mall in Uganda.
This medium gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on the morning of February 24, 2024, at the Voice Mall Shopping Arcade.
Lawal, who played as a striker for Vipers SC in Uganda’s top-flight league, was pronounced dead shortly after the fall.
Ugandan authorities confirmed the incident and revealed that CCTV footage has been recovered from the scene.
