The United States of America has released the list of eligible countries for its 2025 Visa Waiver Programme.

The United Kingdom has been removed from the program, though, it’s citizens can still qualify under specific conditions.

While Romania has been added to the list, marking a significant change.

The list was released by the US Department of State.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs, the VWP allows citizens of eligible countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business purposes for up to 90 days without the need for a visa.

The agency said, “Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel and meet all requirements explained below.

“If you prefer to have a visa in your passport, you may still apply for a visitor visa.”

The 2025 Visa Waiver Program also introduced policy updates on permit eligibility, revisions to the list of participating countries, and new travel policies.
