NDLEA arrests 8 suspects for cultivating Indian hemp in Ekiti

Eight suspects have been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for cultivating Indian Hemp Ire-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

1,465 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa were recovered by NDLEA operatives after the raid carried out on the farm located in Oye Local Government Area of the state.

Deputy Commandant, Narcotic Operations, Mohammed Ibrahim, led the arrest and destruction of the illicit cultivation of the Indian hemp plantation worth about five million naira.
