More Nigerians have reacted to the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of music star and producer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.

Ifeanyi is the three-year-old son of Davido and Chioma who have announced their plan to tie the knot in February 2023.

In a memo entitled “Ifeanyi Adeleke: Unanswered Question!” and made available to News Band, author and constitutional and human rights lawyer, Barrister Carol Ajie, intoned that there is more than meets the eye in the incident.

The mention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the quoted pieces seems to suggest that the incident was not an accident, rather, a foul play from political opponents of Davido’s uncle, the Osun State governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Barrister Ajie wrote: “It is public knowledge that Davido was instrumental to the emergence of his Uncle Sen Adeleke as Gov Osun with whom he has a greatly glowingly family bond.

“Soon his uncle won the Senator, was dragged to court /tribunal, and they are still battling his hard-earned electoral success in the tribunal with most unpopular APC.”

She presented a series of “uncontroverted evidence” as follows:

1) Ifeanyi Adeleke was a very smart kid at three. Smart kids don’t jump into the swimming pool unless they are with an adult who pulls them in. I studied child psychology in school.

2) Ifeanyi Adeleke’s nanny in her statement to the police said she was with master Ifeanyi when her phone rang and she stepped aside a bit to receive the call. Talking about multi-tasking. An adult could take a phone call with his or her eyes on the innocent child whom the entire household dotted on. Do you know the police have [not] yet released the nanny’s call log?

3) The story of Davido’s baby mamas and Chioma and Davido being billed to wed in Feb. 2023 refers. It is senseless to suggest that the young ladies who had kids for Davido would have the financial muscle to buy any of Davido’s well-remunerated domestic staff.

Another observer, in a piece entitled “Davido has a rich parentage”, noted:

“His natural Dad Adedeji Adeleke is the President of Adeleke University himself a Billionaire.

“His younger Brother Senator Ademola Adeleke Davido’s Uncle contested for the Osun Governorship race in 2018 and was coasting to victory when they brought this same intrigue of ‘select re-run’ to upturn it.

“At the time Ifeanyi Adeleke wasn’t born so the adversaries couldn’t hurt him.

“Four years after and like the previous Osun Guber race Davido fully backs his uncle to win in 2022. They now want to cancel out select polling units. The dark game plan.

“The above serves to respond to the narrative that Davido lost his photographer in 2017 and so on.

“Ifeanyi Adeleke wasn’t a staff, he was the 3-year-old son of pretty Chioma and Davido Adeleke.

“Note that four years ago when Davido also stood stout with his uncle, Sen Adeleke, his son Ifeanyi wasn’t born then.

“Why the child from the love of his life, Chioma. The goal being to devastate Davido and distract him from his uncle’s ambition.

“APC regime too desperate for power and not that they put political power to any good purpose.” Read more.
