The founder of the Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Alfa Babatunde, on Sunday, said he had forgiven those behind the matter that sent him to prison.
Babatunde was sent to prison by the state High Court, alongside five other members of his church, having been found guilty of kidnapping a one-year-old child, Gold Kolawole, in his church. He was, however, was recently discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal sitting in Akure , the state capital.
The pastor who appeared before the congregation of his church for the first time on Sunday after he was set free, urged his members to have the spirit of forgiveness, saying he had forgiven all those behind his crisis.
He said God answered prayers of his people and he received His mercy that was why he was set free, so he had no reason to revenge .

“If God had answered prayers and set me free, who am I to say I want to go to mountain and pray to kill them.”
