A Nigerian lady has taken to X to mourn her sister, who was killed by her boyfriend who also killed himself afterwards in Lagos.
A video of the scene shows the lady lying half-naked in the living room with the entire room filled with blood.
Also, the boyfriend is sprawled against the door with blood all over his body.
Lahyorbronze said a neighbour of her sister had reached out to her sometime in June 2023 to report that she was going through hell in the hands of her boyfriend as she was constantly subjected to physical assaults.
In a series of text messages she exchanged with the neighbor, it was alleged that Serah was severely beaten and was seen weeping on a staircase in their building.
The neighbor alleged that the boyfriend did not allow her to go out and she was begging him to allow her to go to her family.
Lahyorbronze said she went to the police station to report the assault in spite of her sister’s denial, but the police told her at the station they cannot take action until the victim herself come forward to report the case.
Meanwhile, Lagos State police command has confirmed the deaths of the two love birds. The duo died in an apartment at Ojodu area of the state.
The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin said that the sudden and unnatural death was reported to the Ojodu Police Division on Sunday at about 9.10 a.m.

He said that the lifeless bodies of the lovers – one Adebayo Adeseko, 30, and his partner, Sarah Adesanya, 36, were found at their apartment at No. 8B, Gbete Street, off Shoyemi Bamaco Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
The police image maker said that on the strength of the information, a team of operatives from the station immediately went to the scene.

It further learnt that the man allegedly stabbed himself and died after he discovered that the woman had given up the ghost.
