Kalu mourns late Edwin Clark, condoles with family

Former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial zone, Orji Uzor Kalu has commiserated with the family of the late leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum, Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON who died at the age of 97.

Senator Kalu in a condolence message noted that the late politician served Nigeria and Niger Delta meritoriously in different positions.

The lawmaker added that the late federal commissioner of information would be remembered for his contributions to the socio-political and economic development of Niger Delta and Nigeria at large

Kalu urged the Clark family to uphold the good deeds of their late patriarch.

He said, “On behalf of the people of Abia North Senatorial district, I condole with the Clark family on the loss of their patriarch, Pa Edwin Clark

“The deceased was a notable figure in Nigeria, having served meritoriously in various positions

“He was a patriotic and selfless statesman with passion for a progressive Nigeria.

“He left behind a good legacy.”

He also condoled with Delta state government and prayed that God would grant the deceased a peaceful rest and give the Clark family the fortitude to bear the loss.
