JUST IN: Hackers hack Central Bank of The Gambia, steal critical data
Hackers have hacked the Central Bank of The Gambia in a suspected ransomware attack.
Ransomware News disclosed this on its Twitter handle, @RansomwareNews, late Sunday.
According to the source, the hackers stole some two terabytes of critical data at an approximate day and time of “2022-11-13, 13:15:13”, but failed to provide details of the attack.
The bank is located in Banjul and was established in 1971.
