JUST IN: Former Ekiti Deputy Governor—Egbeyemi is dead

The immediate past Ekiti Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi is dead hours befor the 2023 governorship election.

Egbeyemi, who was a Deputy Governor of Ekiti state between 2018 and 2022, died on Friday after a brief illness, aged 78.

Egbeyemi’s last public appearance was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly election.

The Nation reported that the former Deputy Governor died at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
