Preliminary Objection filed by Victor Oye’s Counsel, Barr. Victor Agunzi to stop him and Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, INEC Chairman from being committed to prison DISMISSED.
The Court has established beyond reasonable doubt that Oye and Mahmood flagrantly disobeyed the Court’s order as ruled on May 10, 2023; an abuse of court.
Court gives Oye and Mahmood 14days to purge themselves of Contempt Charges or face the FULL WRATH OF THE LAW.
The Court holds that Justice H.O Ozoh judgement in Suit No: T/79/2023 on May 12, 2023, which Oye’s Counsel Barr. Victor Agunzi claims ordered him to conduct congresses and convention, in the name of the party, did not set aside the May 10, 2023 interim order which Oye and Mahmood were bound to obey.
