Over 30 members of a Volunteer Security Network called “Yan Sa Kai” have been killed by bandits at Dogon-Dawa community in Mariga local government area of Niger State.
This medium gathered that the unfortunate incident happened on Saturday, April 6, 2024, during a clash between the said security organization and the criminal elements.
The Volunteer Security Network were reportedly tracking the gunmen movement into their secret den and unexpectedly ambushed them.
The ambush culminated in hours of gun battle, which however, resulted in casualties on both sides.
Mr Abbas Kasuwar Garba, the Chairman of Mariga local government area, confirmed the incident.
