The Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] has declared the Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], Mr. Abbey Awara Ukpukpen as the Winner of the bye-election which was held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, in Obudu, Cross River State.
The Returning Officer for Obudu State Constituency bye-election, Mr Tony Eyang, Ukpukpen as the Winner having scored the highest votes in the just concluded election.
The result shows that Ukpukpen scored 12,712 to emerge winner, ahead of his APC counterpart, Mr. Ishamali A. Bendebel, who scored 4,345;
