Imo guber: Uzodinma, wife vote, commend INEC
The incumbent governor of Imo State and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hope Uzodinma has cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial election in the State.
Uzodinma and his wife voted in polling unit PU032 in Ekwenja Okwu-Ozu, Omuma, Oru East local government area.
While speaking with newsmen after voting, the Imo governor expressed satisfaction with the process and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a free and fair election.
He said, “I am pleased to report that my wife, @he_chiomauzodimma, and I have cast our votes at polling unit 032 in Ekwenja Okwu Ozuh Omuma ward. The electoral process has been commendably seamless and I appreciate @inecnigeria and her officials for their efforts in ensuring a smooth election, same goes to our security agencies for guaranteeing safety across the State.
“My utmost admiration goes to the people of Imo for their massive turnout to fulfill their constitutional obligations. It is heartening to witness the civic responsibility demonstrated by the Imo Electorates. I firmly believe that, at the end of it all, the will of ndi Imo shall prevail and together, we are shaping the future of our great State through the democratic process.”
