The Spokesperson of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, will on Wednesday, February 1, address a press conference on the recent mayhem that took place at his Akokwa country home in Imo State.
Ikenga Ugochinyere disclosed this on Tuesday via his Twitter handle @IkengaImo.
He said he kept silence all these while to mourn some of his associates and family members killed and wounded, with houses and vehicles burnt during the mayhem.
Ugochinyere tweeted:
“As I end the mourning period over the sponsored terrorist and assassination attack carried out in my home that left some of my associates and family members killed and wounded, houses and vehicles burnt, I will be speaking LIVE on Arise, TVC and AIT.
“I will be speaking LIVE to the world to make some important statements on ARISE TV DSTV CHANNEL 416, TVC DSTV CHANNEL 418 AND AIT DSTV CHANNEL 253 by 11am tomorrow, being Feb. 1st 2023 at Opposition House Wuse Abuja.”
It could be recalled that News Band reported on January 14, 2023, that Ugochinyere’s country home was razed by unknown hoodlums with over a dozen cars burnt and his uncle killed in the process.
Several residents of Imo state insisted that the attack was politically motivated as Ikenga is contenting the constituency’s position at the House of Representatives.
