Identity Of Benue Catholic Priests Murderers Revealed

Security authorities have revealed the names of the suspects that murdered the two priests of Catholic Church in Benue State believed to be Fulani herdsmen.

Shockingly, none of the suspects was in reality a Fulani herdsman.

The anmes, as revealed by the security authorities are:

  1. Manga Usaini,
  2. David Akenawe,
  3. Agada Tsetsaa,
  4. Tarzaa Orvhanya, and,
  5. Ngyohov Shin, all Benue State citizens

The suspects are believed to be the killers responsible for the murder of the two Clergymen in Benue State.

They were reportedly apprehended by the Police and they have made useful statements that are helping in the investigation.

ARMY ARRESTS SUSPECTED MEMBERS OF A MILITIA GANG IN BENUE STATE

In a related development, troops of 72 and 93 Battalions have arrested two suspected members of a militia gang terrorizing residents of Katsina Ala in Benue State and its environs following a tip off.

Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu disclosed this in an official Army press release.

Items recovered include:

  • One locally made gun
  • One pistol
  • Seven rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition
  • Nine rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that they belong to a notorious militia gang led by one Mr Gana who is now at large.

Efforts are on to arrest other members of the gang including their leader.

The Army enjoined the public to report any suspicious activities in their areas to the law enforcement agents that will help in the security activities going on in the state.
