A former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has blasted President Mohammadu Buhari for saying he is in London to rest and not to see his doctors for a routine medical checkup as ealier stated by the presidency.
Recall that the fiery U.S based pastor had launched #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon campaign designed to chase the president back to Nigeria. Buhari has been under serious fire after the presidency had announced that he will visit his doctors in London for a routine medical checkup.
The campaign culminated to patriotic Nigerians laying siege at the Abuja House in London, therefore making it impossible for the president to meet with his doctors
Reno Omokri and other Nigerians who have been in the forefront of campaign said since the last five years that the administration of president Buhari came on board, they have not initiated and completed any hospital despite billions of naira that is been budgeted annually to the health ministry.
Reno in a statement said, “General Muhammadu Buhari has changed his story, and now claims that he is in London to rest. But how can you rest in another man’s country when there is unrest in your country?
