In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, Hon. Mrs Mabel Agbo, the immediate past Commissioner for special duties and SDG, and wife of Late Justice Raphael Chikwe Agbo JCA OFR, has commended Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah, the Executive Chairman of Udenu LGA, for his extraordinary efforts in assisting in organizing a befitting burial and funeral rites for her beloved husband. The solemn ceremony, which took place in the late Justice’s hometown of Agalla, Obollo Eke, Udenu LGA, Enugu State, was attended by dignitaries and VIPs from far and wide.

The Late Justice Agbo, a highly esteemed figure in the field of law, died as an Appeal Court Justice in Calabar in July and was committed to the mother earth in a funeral ceremony held between Thursday 5th and Friday 6th October 2023. The event served as a platform for family, friends, and esteemed guests to honor his legacy and bid their final farewell to an exceptional individual. He lived a life dedicated to the pursuit of justice and the betterment of society. His contributions to the judiciary and his impact on the lives of many will always be remembered and cherished.

During an emotional exchange, Hon. Mrs Mabel Agbo expressed her profound joy and deep appreciation to Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah for his instrumental role in ensuring that the burial and funeral rites were executed flawlessly. She expressed her gratitude, stating in native dialect “I ga ha egbudu anyi onwo g’?” (What again could you not have done to gift my late husband a befitting burial?).

Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah, known for his exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, worked tirelessly to orchestrate a seamless and unforgettable ceremony. His contributions were pivotal in making the event a huge success, with attendees including Dr. Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu, his deputy — Barr.
