You keep praising Lagos State governors right? You applaud them like they are the only governor that exist. It took a Godswill Akpabio, though a criminal, to prove that governance is by taste not by state.

Lagos is like Barcelona. No matter how bad the coach is, as long as he keeps getting players like Lionel Messi, Dani Alves, Iniesta etc, he will get results. As long as the mega companies in Lagos keeps paying tax, any governor will get result.

Truth is that apart from Bola Tinubu who laid this foundation which is admittedly faulty today, the two governors after him are mediocres. If Fashola governed Delta State, he would have performed worse than Uduaghan that we crucified.

Today he’s Minister for power, works and Housing and he’s lost. He’s confused and doesn’t know what to do. For a man that said any government that can’t fix power in six months should be sacked, but now in a position to do so, but failed, should tell you he’s a candidate of F9 in leadership.

All eyes are on him and unlike Lagos State that has over a billion Naira to bribe the Press yearly from not reporting the under achievement, it’s not so in the Federal.

The money to bribe almost 90% of the media is not there and now he must face the scrutiny. Unlike Lagos where he hides budget, he can’t hide the one in the ministry. Breeze blow, fowl yansh open.

Until he left, we didn’t know that over N70 million was used to build a useless website that is currently down and over N100 million just to sink a borehole.

Believe me, Lagos is a corporate fraud entity without a governor. What they have is a CEO who only comes to cover the fraud of the past CEOs.

Any serious Governor that gets the kind of tax that Ambode gets currently should turn Lagos to Dubai overnight and not some publicity stunt of ‘Cleaner Lagos’, with the company handling it used to loot funds.

If Okowa governs Lagos for a year, we will still sing his praise. If Ambode governs Delta for a year, we will not just criticise him but stone him by now.

For the first time in history, a private company was secretly infused into a law to make it the SOLE collector of land revenue in Lagos. The company is Alpha Beta!

Who owns it? It’s alleged to be owned by Bola Tinubu, the Grand CEO of Lagos State. He’s the landlord of Eko and the criminal Ambode in a bid to completely will off Lagos land to his benefactor, has decided to enact a law to that effect.

The clause reads “Alpha Beta or any other designated person(s) or corporate body who has the responsibility of monitoring the incoming revenue of the State through the collecting banks, shall provide a report to the Accountant-General of the State.”

There you have it Lagosians and Nigerians, land rents in Lagos will no longer be collected by the government but by the emperor’s company. And you come here praising Ambode.

Gov. Ambode is not better than Anini. He’s only legally doing it because of immunity clause. If you want to know Governors who truly performed, look at Akpabio, which I admit is a rogue and should be shot tied to a tree, but better than Fashola in their days.

Take a look at Gombe State Governor, Dakwambo, Sullivan Chime of Enugu and Peter Obi of Anambra, who did all this without enough IGR from their states.

No Lagos Governor should be compared to any other governor in the country. They should be compared to Mayors abroad. Governance in Lagos is more secret than Ogboni society. Ogboni and Illuminati dey learn where Lagos Governors operate.

If in doubt, ask for their yearly budget. If in doubt, write to them requesting for information using FOI act. You will realize that it’s easier for a camel to pass through the eyes of a needle than to get such information from Ambode. I have tried it.

The power of Lagos State Governor is the media. Akpabio found this out and used it massively well. Even though he was looting Akwa Ibom silly, he was also developing the state and focusing the media only on the developmental aspect.

Uduaghan also found this out and for seven years used it to his advantage. It was the build up to the PDP primaries that tore the irons assunder, when we cut chain and decided to spill the beans.

This is exactly what Ambode is doing today just like his predecessor did, using the media to hoodwink gullible Nigerians like themselves, not me.

Lagos State under Ambode is a failing state. Wait until a Pharaoh that knows no Joseph comes to take over the reins of power, then you will realise that from 2003 till 2023, Lagos was running as a Private limited company, an ATM without a pin.
