Finally, Soludo eliminates Ojukwu from APGA campaign materials
The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has finally eliminated the iconic image of Late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, which has adorned all party’s paraphernalia from All Progressives Grand Alliance’s (APGA’s) campaign materials.
The observation was made by News Band correspondent, Mr. Eneh Victor Chigozie, in a post on his social media handle.
Reacting to the development, Mr. Eneh stated:
“Nwa Mgbafor (Soludo) has successfully removed Ojukwu from APGA campaign materials.
“This is the first time Ojukwu’s name, picture and photograph has not appeared in any APGA campaign material since 2003.
“No APGA leader wore the party uniform to their factional campaign flag off today at Ekwueme square Awka.
“So, the spirit of Ojukwu is no longer with APGA? This is the sad reality of APGA under Prof Soludo.”
Below are two photos of Soludo before and after his election as governor with and without Ojukwu’s image:

Since assuming office, Soludo had reportedly embarked on moves to denigrate the Biafran warlord and assert his little-known popularity.
