FG Suspends Airlines for Conveying Nairaarley to Abuja Concert

Federal Government on Monday suspended an airline, Execujet, for conveying popular singer , Azeez Fashola known as “Naira Marley” to Abuja for a concert at the Jabi Lake Mall.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika who announced the suspension of the Airline said that the flight that took Marley to Abuja was approved for a different purpose, to convey a service Justice from Lagos to Abuja and back, on official assignment.
He said, “We approved a flight indeed, but not for any musician. Approved flight was to convey a Justice on official assignment, but ExecuJet illegally used it to convey musician to Abuja for concert. We have suspended ExecuJet’s operations indefinitely , will also be fined.
