The European Commission has pledged to disburse another €3 billion of the Macro-Financial Assistance package to Ukraine on Wednesday.
The Commission disclosed this on its Twitter handle, @EU_Commission, on Tuesday.
Making the announcement, the organization stated:
”Tomorrow we will disburse €3 billion of the Macro-Financial Assistance package to Ukraine.
“It is the first tranche of the 18 billion support package to help Ukraine meet its financing needs in 2023.
“We will #StandWithUkraine for as long as it takes.
”We have been supporting Ukraine since the first day of the Russian aggression.
”Our Macro-Financial Assistance package will help maintain public services running, such as hospitals and schools, restore critical infrastructure and ensure macroeconomic stability.”
Meanwhile, in a video chart attached to the Twitter statement, the European Commission gave details of the financial support rendered to Ukraine so far.
