Empty Stadium Welcomes President Buhari To Bauchi
President Muhammadu Buhari was welcomed to Bauchi State on Thursday by a near-empty stadium as the venue was characterized by absence of crowd.
The reason was partially attributed to his dwindling popularity as former staunch followers have abandoned his leadership.
One such follower is Sheik Dahiru Bauchi, an Islamic Preacher from Bauchi State, who was a staunch supporter of Buhari.
Reports have it, however, that he has turned his back on President Buhari which explains why Bauchi was empty during his visit.
See some reactions on social media over the visit:
Sheik Dahiru Bauchi who controls almost 20million Sunni Muslims in Nigeria and El-Zakzaky of the Shi’a Muslims with 12million followers have all pulled out from Buhari. Sheik Gumi who is also a leader of the Sunni is hanging in the balance. Izalla Muslims not too political!

A mindful, serious and sensitive President ought to have considered visiting headquarters of the Catholic Church in Abuja as a necessity, but not Buhari. He places no more value on human life.
He elected to visit Bauchi on a political jamboree. Wickedness.
