alvan ikoku collegeSome unofficial information just landed at my disposal, but if it is true, then, why? I wonder why that should be a major priority to the current administration.

I read that President Muhammadu Buhari recently reversed the status of the Alvan Ikoku University of Education, Owerri, Imo State, from being a University to its former status of college of education.

It should be recalled that Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan had, towards the end of his tenure, elevated the institution to a university of education, but shortly after assuming office, Buhari had directed a reversion to status quo.

I am kind of upset about this.

For the GMB to reverse the decision taken by the former president, GEJ, which was a well thought action in the right direction, towards boosting education in Nigeria, does it mean that the decision was in error?

What is his reason for the reversal?

Or is it just to play down on the Igbos once again after cancelling the second Niger bridge project which will benefit the Igbos.

If things are not addressed, next in line is to downgrade Enugu Airport!

Where are they South East Governors and the leaders of thought?

They must speak now.

Where is the APC governor of Imo State? Where is Ngige, where are you, Ogbonnaya Onu, etc?

Buhari once said he is taking time in order not to make bad decisions.

It’s obvious he didn’t even have time to consider the implications of what he has done by neglecting the effort, time and money spent in upgrading the school, recruiting lecturers, students already admitted, etc.

Or the consequences of the stoppage of the 2nd Niger Bridge!

At this rate, do NOT be surprised if you hear that Enugu Airport has been downgraded.

Which other FG presence do we even have in the East?

Rochas, over to you ooo!!!
