Demise Of Saleh Michika: Adamawa Lost A Father – Bindow Mourns

The Executive Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow said the entire State is mourning mood over the dead of the first civilian Governor of the state,Alhaji Saleh Michika.

Michika was the first Governor of the statet immediately it was carved out of the defunct Gongola state from January 1992 to November 1993 under the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC)

In a statement signed by his special Assistant on Press and media affairs, Martins Dickson Bindow described  the late Saleh Michika as an industrious and faithful leader who did his best in developing the state and ensuring unity and peaceful coexistence of the people of Adamawa State.

Born in 1941 late Alhaji Saleh Michika had 4 wives and is father to 38 children, 99 Grand children and 3 great grand children.

Senator Bindow extends his condolence to the the immediate and extended family of Saleh Michika and the entire people of Adamawa State, and prayed Allah to grant Saleh Michika Aljanna Firdausi.

Saleh Michika died on the 10th of March at the Federal Medical Centre Yola, where he has been receiving medical care.
