There is serious ongoing plot to impeach the Chairman of Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, Hon. Fred Okem.
NewsBand understand that the Yala Local Government Legislative Council is set to issue an impeachment notice to Mr Okem after he failed to direct his appointees to appear before the House for screening.
A source in CROSSFILM NETWORK, revealed that Mr Okem bypassed protocols meant to certify appointees legally.
However, to this effect, the Legislative Council is warming up to impeach the Chairman should he fail to follow the due process that guides the appointment of officers into various positions.
