Mr Simon Ekpa, the self acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government in Exile, has alleged that criminals loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike masterminded the abduction of two South Koreans in Rivers State.

Ekpa’s allegation comes after Boma Goodhead, a member of the House of Representatives, on Friday during a solidarity march to the Rivers State Government House in support of governor Siminalayi Fubara, accused Wike of orchestrating the assassination of Bako Angbashim, a Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers State.

Bako was killed during exchange of gunfire with a cult gang on September 8.

Police authorities launched a high-level manhunt for the perpetrators of the crime and have reported that suspects have been arrested and are in custody.

Despite no known direct evidence pinning Mr Wike in the crime, Ms Goodhead, a sister to former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, said that Wike and some others should be held accountable for the crime.

Though, tension had been mounting in the last few days as the political altercation between Fubara and his predecessor, Mr Nyesom Wike gained traction

Recall that gunmen on Monday killed six people, including four soldiers and abducted two South Korean expatriates after their convoy was ambushed along the East-West Road in the State.

Meanwhile, Ekpa who appears to be collaborating Boma’s allegation in a post on his official X handle, urged the former governor of Rivers State to order the criminals answerable to him to release the two South Korean expatriates.

According to the Finland based agitator, his phantom Government of Biafra is readily available to collaborate with South Korea to ensure the safe release of their citizens from the den of the kidnappers.

He tweeted, “In addition to the bellow report, We are calling on Wike to order his criminals in Rivers state to immediately release the two South Koreans that was kidnapped in Rivers state.

“Our intel has confirmed that kidnappers are criminals loyal to Wike.

“The Biafra Government has offered to collaborate with South Korea to secure their release. However, our intelligence gathering has confirmed that the criminals loyal to Wike kidnapped the two construction workers after killing their security escorts.

“Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, take note.

“Every Biafran should tag the South Korean Government.”
