There is palpable confusion in some quarters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the image of the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, appeared beside that of Late Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe ‘Zik’ instead of that of Late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who is generally reckoned as the father of the party.

Consequently, a resident has expressed concerns that Governor Soludo may have concluded plans to replace the image of Late Dim Ojukwu with that of Late Chief Azikiwe in the party’s paraphernalia.

The concern followed the sudden appearance of Soludo’s and Zik’s artwork in a ‘strategic place’ in Awka, the State capital, and believed to be ‘strategically placed’ at one of the flyovers in Awka by Soludo’s camp.

When contacted, our correspondent, Mr. Eneh Victor Chigozie said sarcastically: “Soludo has replaced Ojukwu with Zik.

“Possibly, APGA paraphernalia and all their campaign uniforms will now bear Zik’s head and no longer that of Ojukwu.

“We wait to see the outcome.”

The media assistant to Governor Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime, has not yet responded to our enquiry over the issue.

Meanwhile, in another development, News Band gathered that Soludo may have perfected plans to probe the Administration of the former Governor Peter Obi.

It was learnt that the current governor is now all out to fight Peter Obi and ensure his towering acceptance by Nigerians is damaged and integrity destroyed.

A source revealed that a secret meeting was convened at Awka to that effect on Wednesday.

It was reportedly agreed at the meeting that the administration of the past governors, including Peter Obi and Willie Obiano, will be probed.

The meeting resolved that the probe will start from the administration of Peter Obi, who is the primary target.

The probe, it was gathered, will be used to campaign against the Labour Party presidential candidate at the heat of the campaigns by January and February 2023.

The probe of Obiano, which is nothing but a decoy probably masterminded by Obiano, will only come after the election if at all it ever will.

Speaking, Mr. Eneh lamented: “It is unfortunate how our own is being used to destroy Peter Obi just to favour Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“Meanwhile, the alleged probe is not going to be new.

“The past administration spent hundreds of millions of naira to implicate Obi and hand him over to the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC), but all their shenanigans failed.

“Peter Obi is the Next President of Nigeria and no one can pull him down,” he stated emphatically.

Another resident, who claimed that Soludo’s attitude stems from envy, jealousy and inferiority complex, said:

“Envy and jealousy are derivatives of inferiority complex which Charlie Nwa Mgbafor certainly personifies.

“By consistently rooting for his obvious candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as one of only two serious candidates (the second candidate being Bola Tinubu), Soludo must be reading the wrong tea leaves or misreading the proper ones.

“The scientifically-robust and consistently correct NOI/ANAP Poll, which correctly predicted the outcome of all the presidential elections since 2011, has also predicted that Peter Obi is cruising effortlessly to victory come February 25, 2023.

“Based on the latest opinion poll, Peter Obi is a clear leader in three out of six geopolitical zones, viz: South East, South South and North Central, a rare feat that speaks volumes.” Read more.
