The umbrella body of all civil society organisations in Nigeria, The Coalition Of Civil Society Organisations Of Nigeria  [COSCON]  has suggested the shooting of all corrupt politicians as the only means of checking corruption in Nigeria.

The group which was alarmed that the son of a former governor of Abia state, T. A. Orji could be found with a car worth one hundred million naira when millions of Abians live in abject poverty.

COSCON said the replication of such acts all over the country shows the level Nigerian politicians have looted the nation .

The Director of programme of the group, Pat Anyanwu queried the EFCC for not investigating Governor Ganduje of Kano yet for his corrupt and bribery scandal .

He also want EFCC to expedite the prosecution of many looting past Governors and politicians some of whom are now aspiring for one position or another.

He queried why the National Assembly should be paying a convict Joshua Dariye when they are supposed to know that a convict loses all his rights until given amnesty.

He, therefore, called for the resignation of the leadership of the National Assembly immediately and the return of the illegal salaries and allowances paid Joshua Dariye.
