Tacit evidence has emerged on how and why the relatively cheap GS4 luxury car designed for Nigerians by Chinese automobile builders suddenly went out of reach for the average Nigerian.

According to our correspondent, Mr Oghenedoro Pedro Ortega, this luxury car originally cost N4.2 million including tax when it was first launched but suddenly skyrocketed to N10.8 million, which is the price imposed by an imperialist, a Chinese lady, Ms Diana Chen.

Our correspondent reported that GAC had plan for Nigeria automobile industry, which was to kill the price of other cars like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and Kia products.

They made the same standard for Nigeria. All that was left was for distributors to apply to bring the vehicles from China.

The Chinese lady, Ms Chen got the first distribution right. Then problem started.

She broke the initial plan and with Nigerians falling in love with GAC Motors, she began to sell it same price that Toyota sells theirs.

As it stands, Nigerians all have a chance to drive brand new cars, made of luxury, style and durability for our roads.

But with Diana Chen using her CIG Motors and Chinese roots and monopolizing the distribution of GAC in Nigeria, there seems to be problem.

Presently, She has reportedly blocked every local person from importing the cars, using her contacts in Custom and Trade and Investment.

Mr Oghenedoro stated that if GAC Motors will be imported by Nigerians and for Nigerians, the gains of importing the cars will be enormous.

Reports show that 80% of Diana Chen’s staff are Chinese, which is against local content law.

The remaining 20% that are Nigerians are owed salaries for months and will be sacked if they complain and will eventually end up not getting paid.

Nigerian have been enjoined to stop this imperialism to guarantee access to these cars at cheap prices.

It will also guarantee employment for Nigerians,  just like Elizade, Briscoe, Coscharis are doing.

Well-meaning Nigerians are, therefore, orequested to create the awareness and end this monopoly of Diana Chen CIG Motors.
