Charly Boy Inaugurates Ourmumudondo Movement In Anambra
Mobilises Anambrarians to secure voter card
The founder of civil society group, “OurMumuDonDo’ and social crusader, Charles Oputa, fondly called Charly Boy, has taken his gospel against bad leadership to Anambra State with a charge to the people to secure their voter card with which to vote out non-performing and corrupt leaders.
Oputa was speaking while inaugurating the Comrade Ndubuisi Anaenugwu-led Anambra state Chapter of the Movement at the Civic Centre, Enugwu-ukwu (Thursday, May 17, 2017).
He pointed out that the voter card would enable the electorate to vote candidates of their choice and sack unwanted, corrupt leaders.
Oputa, who is also an entertainer, had caused gridlocks in major streets of Awka and environs as his Movement moved rounds streets en route Enugwu-ukwu, the venue of the inauguration in a road show led by Okada and Keke-NAPEP riders.
He said that Nigerians leaders have developed deaf ears to the plight and yearnings of the masses, stressing that the Movement was formed to sensitize Nigerians to know their rights, vote for the right leader and seek for accountability from them.
Earlier, Mrs Rita Anigbogu appreciated the courage and determination of Mr Oputa in fighting for the cause and interest of Nigerians and said the only weapon available to the masses to remove bad leaders is their Voter’s card.
