The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has declared that it will once again sell dollars to bureau de change operators at the rate of N1,101/$.
The apex bank announced this in a circular, titled, ‘Sales of FX to Meet Retail Market Demand For Eligible Invisible Transactions’, dated April 8.
According to the CBN, it intend to offer $10,000 to each BDC at N1101/$ and ordered the operators to sell at a margin no more than 1.5 percent above the CBN rate.
The circular was addressed to the president of the Association of Bureau De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON).
