Buhari Receives Recovered Assets Audit Report, Forms Donated By Supporters

President Muhammadu Buhari , on Tuesday, 11th September 2018, received the Audit Report from Presidential Audit Committee on Recovered Assets in State House in Abuja.

Earlier in the day, President Buhari also received the All Progressives Congress [APC] Expression of Interest Forms from Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN) at the same venue.

The Audit Report from Chairman Presidential Audit Committee on Recovered Assets was presented by to the President Mr Femi Lijadu in the State House.

The president was inundated with petitions and calls from various quarters asking him not to accept the forms.

Some of the calls were by fellow presidential aspirants under the same party who claimed that the forms are a violation of the laws guiding donation for campaigns.

According to the constitution, no individual or organisation should make a donation beyond one million Naira.

The Interest Form and the Nomination Form cost a total 45 million Naira.
