BREAKING: Sex For Marks Lecturer—Akindele Pleads Guilty

The former lecturer of Obafemi Awolowo University [OAU], Ile Ife, Prof. Richard Iyiola Akindele, accused of demanding sex in exchange of marks from one of his students, Ms. Monica Osagie, has pleaded guilty to the charge.
Prof. Akindele changed his ‘not guilty’ plea to ‘guilty’ on Monday.
Recall that the Professor was dragged to court for demanding sex in order to pass the said student.
Reacting to the plea, the prosecutor, Mr. Shogunle Adenekan said all parties in the matter have reach a plea bargain.
He, therefore, pleaded for a suspended sentence for the accused.
