IA former Spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], Prince Dayo Adeyeye, has defected to the All Progressives Congress [APC].
The former Minister of State for Works said he was joining forces with the APC and its candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi ahead of the upcoming Ekiti State gubernatorial election in July.
Prince Adeyeye reportedly defected with his teeming supporters to the ruling party.
Citing his reasons for defection to APC and supporting Fayemi while declaring to APC today, he said in part:
“Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the APC candidate has come to right the wrong of the past… He is now better equipped, well focused and better prepared to move Ekiti forward.”
It could be recalled that Prince Adeyeye contested for the PDP Ekiti State gubernatorial election primaries and lost to the incumbent Deputy Governor.

Also, after he failed the election, he had applauded the PDP governorship primary election that he lost.
He described the election as free, fair and transparent.
Now he has decamped to the APC, however, he claimed that the election was manipulated against him and that he was moving from Egypt to what he called promised land.
