bindowGovernor of Adamawa state lamented that the devastation done to Mubi and its environment is pegged at three billion naira and urged that the situation have deprived

government of revenue.

Bindow said this when he played host to his kinsmen who are from Mubi South,Mubi North, Michika and Maiha, LGAs cover parts of northern senatorial zone of the state.

He assured the mamooth crowd of basic infrastructure as well as enhancing development of Mubi and its environs.

at the conference hall of government house in Yola, explained that basic infrastructure have been lined up to ensure that development strives in the area.

Governor Jibrilla added that government will monitor the expenditure of public funds to ensure accountability and provision of developmental strides.

He said the state is the most backward in terms and prayed for support and prayers to enable him discharge his responsibility as governor of the state adding that a committee will be put in place with competent elders to disburse funds meant for development while government plays a supervisory role.

The people who came from various religion and party affiliation said,their purpose of coming is to celebrate and pray for him to have a success tenure that will change the life of every one in the state.

To also remind him of the urgent attention of most of the social amenities that has been bastardised by insurgents.

Leader of the delegation, Mr. Wilberforce Juta represented by Alhaji Bakari Betso said “the essence of the visit is to reiterated the group’s support to the governor and urged him to upgrade the Mubi General hospital to teaching hospital while cottage hospitals in the area be upgraded to status of general hospital.”

The leader urged the governor to rehabilitate bridges along Mubi road while ensuring that intervention is ensured to restore the area to its former status and enhance revenue drive to the area.

while calling on ensuring cordial working relation with legislature, enable Adamawa state university recruit more staff to replace those that left owing to invasion by insurgents.

In a remark, Member representing Mubi North in the state house of assembly, Barrister Sani Shehu appealed to the people to give the governor the needed support to enable him deliver all their needed request,adding that the legislature is poised to  continue to synergies to enhance development of the state.

He explained that efforts is geared towards providing water to mubi and its environs soon.
