Biafra Govt in Exile is a sham, Simon Ekpa looted our funds, fed our soldiers with garri without sugar — Source reveals
Mr Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Government In Exile, has been indicted by some of his lieutenants for corruption.
Ekpa, the gang leader of the Autopilot—a breakaway faction of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), who was arrested in November along side four others, suspected to be his financiers by the Finnish Government, could be facing corruption probe from his supporters.
Since the arrest of Simon Ekpa, the Biafra Government In Exile, has been rocked with multiple scandals after Dr. Ngozi Orabueze toppled his principal and took control of the utopia Government.
Ngozi Orabueze was a Chief of Staff to Simon Ekpa before he was thrown into prison on terror-related activities.
Sources told NewsBand Newspaper that thousands of dollars which was contributed and handed over to Simon Ekpa for the support of the movement was looted by him.
Even funds which was supposed to be channeled for the upkeep of Biafra Liberation soldiers was also embezzled by the rabble rouser agitator.
While describing the Biafra Government In Exile as a complete sham, the source further revealed that the so-called Biafra Liberation soldiers are being fed with garri without sugar in their various hideouts.
“Biafra Government In Exile is a shame. I’m speaking based on my experience with them. Simon Ekpa is corrupt. All the money we contributed and handed over to him cannot be accounted for.
“Do you know thousands of dollars we have contributed in the name of defence fund? Our people around the globe have contributed heavily to this defence fund still our soldiers are taking garri without sugar in their various camps. This is unacceptable”, the source said.
Moreover, while collaborating the revelation of the source, Simon Ekpa’s Minister of Information, who goes by the name, “Simon Ekpa Akparawa”, called out Dr. Ngozi Orabueze for accusing Simon Ekpa of corruption.
Akparawa in a post on his official X handle, described Orabueze as a political mole who infiltrated the movement to destroy it.
“Biafrans I want you to disregard the evil Devilish Nigeria politician called Ngozi ORABUEZE who’s telling you that Biafra Army are drinking garri without food, how did Biafra Army feed this man here if Prime Minister was feeding them with garri?

Also in a video sighted by this paper on X, some members of the Biafra Liberation soldiers were seen taking garri. Another individual who appears to be their commander was heard promising the militants that by the next day, food will be made available for them.
This medium earlier reported that Dr. Ngozi, a serving nurse in the United States and former chairperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been having a running battle with Akparawa after she sacked the group’s Minister of Finance, Mr. Okechukwu Nkere.
The sudden sack of Nkere is said to have infuriated other members of the cabinet, more especially, Mr. Akparawa.
Recall that NewsBand while quoting insider source, reported that Dr. Ngozi masterminded the subtle removal of Simon Ekpa as Prime Minister so as to avoid what happened in IPOB after the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.
