Assistant Police Commissioner dies in Bayelsa

Mr Oluseye Odunmbaku, an Assistant Commissioner of Police attached to the Bayelsa State Police Command, is dead.

His death was announced by the Bayelsa police command in a statement issued by its spokesman, Asinim Butswat, on Tuesday.

The late police chief, according to the statement, was in charge of operations at the command before his unfortunate death.

Part of the statement reads, “The Bayelsa State Police Command regrets to announce the demise of ACP Oluseye Odunmbaku, until his death, he was the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations.

“A condolence register has been opened at the command headquarters, Ovom, Yenagoa. May his soul rest in peace”.
