Night of Bliss Abuja was unprecedented and epoch- making as the programme succeeded in getting the entire FCT in 23 praying spots to pray at the same time for the welfare and wellbeing of our nation Nigeria especially for the enthronement of the will and plan of God on all facets of our national life even as a new administration is enthroned a few days from now.
Every strata of the Abuja society availed themselves of the rare opportunity to be in attendance at the various prayer points spread across the entire Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Traditional rulers, prominent community leaders (Christians and non-Christians) were massively in attendance.
The political class including some National Assembly members, officials of the Federal Capital administration, officials of some federal government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) were not left out of the prayer meeting as they were effectively mobilised and voluntarily agreed to participate.
As aptly described by Dipo Fisho, the Zonal Pastor, Christ Embassy Abuja Zone, “This program was one significant Night with the King where testimonies of healings and change of stories took place for individuals and for our nation in general.
“We have confirmation in our spirits that things have shifted in the realm of the spirit for good in our nation and whatever plans of the devil to cause crisis or continue to hold down Nigeria from occupying its rightful position as the continental giant in all ramifications have been annulled because we prayed.
“The essence of the programme is to re-align our nation in God’s perfect plan for it and also in the lives of the citizenry both those in government and the led.
On why the programme is being held at such a time as this, Pastor Dipo said “We have a very short time before the enthronement of a new administration and if there is any time to pray for this country, it is now. The date was significant as we just have few days to the swearing-in of the new government. Together, we’re declaring peace and raining righteousness on our Nation.

As he said, “The event rode on the wings of the positive feedbacks and loads of testimonies of the previous programs and initiatives of the Christ Embassy Abuja Zone cutting across the entire capital city and that was why the programme was widely embraced across the FCT with the kind of success recorded.
“It was a time to apply the knowledge of God’s Word to effect changes in our nation and we know that it seems that God would do nothing except we pray so we decided to pray”, he said.
According to him, “This special edition of The Night of Bliss was inspired by the Holy Spirit to serve as a rallying point of intercessory prayers by Christians across the FCT for our dear nation, Nigeria.. Over 100 ministers of the Gospel participated at the different prayer points across the Territory.”
Remarkably also, this prayer programme also held simultaneously in several other nations of the world including Kuwait, the Maldives, Brunuei, Sri Lanka, Micronesia and East Timor. These other countries under Christ Embassy Abuja zone were led to pray for their governments and peoples asking that the will and plan of God for their nations be enthroned and fulfilled. Read more.
