Anambra guber: APC group endorses Paul Chukwuma for gov

An APC support group, Ikemba Front, has endorsed Sir Paul Chukwuma for Governor, ahead of the upcoming political party primary, for the November 2025 Anambra gubernatorial race.
The group, a prominent political support group in the APC courted by late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, on Thursday, announced its endorsement of Sir Paul Chukwuma’s aspiration to become the first APC governor of Anambra State.
In a meeting convened by the founder and leader of the group, Dr. Chidi Okoye which was held in Awka, the Anambra State capital, and attended by Barr. Chugbor Enwezor, among other leaders of the group, as well as their local government coordinators across the twenty-one LGAs of Anambra State, the group unequivocally endorsed Paul Chukwuma for governor, stating that Mr. Chukwuma is not only a formidable party man but also responsible for how attractive the APC has become in Anambra State in recent times.
The group further noted the enormity of support it has enjoyed from Sir Paul Chukwuma since the demise of Senator Ubah, as part of why Chukwuma deserves the endorsement.
Within the week, the Anambra state chapter of the APC received two prominent sons of the state into the party. They are; Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Prof. Obiora Okonkwo. Both have also visited the Anambra APC State Working Committee to declare interest in the coming governorship election on the party’s platform.
However, Ikemba Front observed that Sir Paul Chukwuma who is a foundation member of the APC, has served as the party’s national auditor, and has held other positions in the party since its inception. Yet, he has identified with them and embraced them as one of their own.

In an interview with newsmen, Dr. Chidi Okoye, the leader and founder of Ikemba Front emphasized that Paul Chukwuma is the very best the party can present at this time for the November gubernatorial election.
He also stressed that aside from being a trustworthy party man, Chukwuma is fully prepared to lead Anambra State out of the present chaos and anarchy that has significantly shaped the present administration in Anambra State.
Beyond that, he also said that Chukwuma would lead Anambra into sustained prosperity that every onye Anambra would be proud of.
