Hilarious! Charly Boy drops joke on Kwankwaso over Peter Obi’s popularity
Area Fada 1, ace musician Charly Boy, has dropped a joke on the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, over the soaring popularity of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, following the recently-held town hall meeting organized by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) in partnership with Arise News Television and other stakehlders.
CDD had extended invitations to the four leading presidential candidates in the 2023 elections to its debate Labour Party’s Peter Obi, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and NNPP’s Rabiu Kwankwaso in Abuja, on Sunday.
At the end of the meeting, Kwankwaso and Peter Obi enjoyed a tete-a-tet which caught the attention of Charly Boy leading to the joke.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Charly Boy joke about Kwankwaso asked Obi his magic wand for such popularity “in just three months”.
The purported ensuing conversation went thus:
“Kwankwaso: “Mr. Obi, how did you become this strong in just three months?”
“Peter Obi: “Na God oh!”
“Kwankwaso: “Cut soap for me nau.
“Peter Obi: “I don’t know where Obidients kept the soap!””
The tweet ended with three emoticon “rolling on the floor laughing” and “face with tears of joy”🤣🤣😂.

Meanwhile, the town hall meeting almost ended in fracas, as protests erupted over the representation of PDP’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, by his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
APC’s Tinubu, in his characteristic nature, failed to appear for the meeting, as pundits said, “to avoid being embarrassed with questions from the hosts and audience”.
At the end of the presidential town hall meeting, Peter Obi shone brightly as he dropped statistics, facts and figures that got the admiration of the audience, while Okowa was booed as he represented Atiku. Read more.
