In Los Angeles, a driver drove into a column of police cadets who were jogging Wednesday morning, leaving 25 injured and five in critical condition, according to media reports.
In total, 75 police cadets were on the run. One of the victims is on a ventilator, others have fractures, head injuries, and one has reportedly lost limbs.
The 22-year-old driver who hit the police was detained after escaping with minor injuries following a breathalyzer test that showed he was sober. His motivation for the attack is not confirmed as of yet.
